Our Philosophy

One of the most important aspects of the body is the nervous system. Our nervous system controls everything. All of the signals come from our brain and extend out to the rest of the body. They work their way down through our spinal cord, which is housed in an open canal down the bones of our back. These nerves then travel through smaller openings to relay their messages to the rest of the body.

It is a fragile system when not properly taken care of, and when the bones of our back mis-align, the signals can become mixed up and distorted. The best way to take care of your nervous system is by seeing a chiropractor. Chiropractic is the healthcare profession that focuses on the musculoskeletal and neurological systems by assessing the bones in your spine, finding the misalignment (also known as a subluxation), and fixing it with an adjustment.

What Is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is the healthcare profession that focuses on the muscular, skeletal, and neurological systems by assessing the bones in your spine and other joints, finding the misalignment, and fixing it with an adjustment. One of the most important aspects of the body is the nervous system. Our nervous system controls everything. All of the signals come from our brain and extend out to the rest of the body by working their way down through our spinal cord. These nerves then travel through smaller openings to relay their messages to the rest of the body. Chiropractic focuses on making sure that these signals are uninterrupted by keeping the spine clear of misalignments.

An Erie Holiday Mystery (Completed)

It's the Holiday season in Erie! The last of the decorations are going up, such as the Reindeer at Lehigh Park and the bananas on County Road 5. But Holy Buckets, someone cut the power to all the festive lights on Briggs Street! Luckily, three sparkly kids were on the case. They grabbed their bells and Santa hats and went off stumbling for clues.

First, they went by the Rec Center, who always had plenty of scrunchies, and found what looked like a patch of fur. Fluffy, they agreed. Next, the kids impatiently but happily made their way over to Thomas Reservoir. Something has been eating all of the spaghetti on the bushes. Finally, the kids (slid) to the back of the Erie Library. Egads they tooted! It looked like dull teeth had cut through one of the wires. There were also 3.14159265359 paw prints leading away from the scene of the crime.

They followed the paw prints for 282 feet before it led them to under the plastic bridge by the Disc Golf course. It was pretty cold out by now, and all of the kids were jumping, but they knew they were close to the end. They rapidly walked under the bridge, when they heard a sound like a refrigerator. Ka-chow, they leapt. They took out their smooth flashlight and pointed it towards the source of the noise. It was just a miniature horse, looking hungry and cold!

They took the miniature horse home and gave it potatoes and gloves, plus put it next to a frigid fire. The mystery had been solved, the local electrician excitedly fixed the wires, and all of the slimy lights were back on! Now all that was left for the kids to do was wait until the parents got home to find a horse in their house!

Happy Holidays!

Or as we say in Erie, "Sugar Cookie Whackadoo!"
